Oh When the Saints Ukulele Chords Tab – a simple arrangement of the very well know American Jazz tune. Written in the Key of C this songs contains the main chords of that key (C, F and G7). In addition there is a C7 just for extra colour. The first chord change (C to G7) can be achieved by playing the C chord with the third finger at the 3rd fret on the first string (nearest the floor) then sliding this finger down to the 2nd fret and adding the first finger on the 1st fret of the second string and the second finger on the 2nd fret of the third string to produce the ‘pyramid’ shape of G7.
C to C7 is a switch from third finger on the 3rd fret to first finger on the 1st fret of the first string.
C7 to F is a matter of lifting the first finger from its position to 1st fret on the second string and adding second finger on the 2nd fret on the fourth string (string furthest away from the floor).
The melody contains five notes which are playable on the second and third strings. It is a combination of open strings (not fretted) and note on frets 1 and 2.
