I’m Yours Ukulele Tab Chords (Intro) – A great intro to a great song! The ‘riff’ of this song is two notes played together – plucked once and slide up the fretboard followed by chord accompaniment in a swing reggae style. The riff starts with a slide on both first and second strings from fret 3 to fret 5. This can be played with the first finger ‘baring’ across the two strings or two individual fingers. You will notice the C chord is played holding down both strings at 3rd fret instead of just 3 fret on the first string. The slide after the G chord can be achieved by sliding the whole chord up and not sounding the first string or using fingers one and two. A minor to F chords are straightforward.

Jason Mraz can probably take a lot of credit for the recent popularity of the Ukulele. It is one of the most played songs on the Uke if youtube is anything to go by. Originally written and recorded on guitar, you can still feel the Hawaiin influence of a Ukulele rhythm. Mraz, since the adoption of this song by Uke players is often to be seen playing a Baritone Ukulele (almost guitar size) and it features heavily on one of his recent albums, ‘Yes!’ on Atlantic Records).
